NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The League of Women Voters of New Rochelle will present a forum for local candidates running for Westchester County Board of Legislators on Monday, October 23, 2017 in New Rochelle City Hall Auditorium, 515 North Avenue (entrance from rear parking lot). The public is encouraged to submit written questions and mingle with candidates from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The forum will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Incumbent Catherine Parker (D) in District 7 and challenger Norman S. Rosenblum (R), current Mayor of Mamaroneck Village, will debate first, followed by incumbent Sheila Marcotte (R) and challenger Damon Maher (D) in District 10.

Because he is unchallenged for reelection in District 11, James Maisano will not participate in the forum but will be available to meet and greet before the formal debate.

A League moderator from outside the city will lead the evening.

Questions from voters may be submitted ahead of time to lwvnewrochelle@gmail.com.

The public is encouraged to go online to Vote411.org for detailed information about each candidate.

The candidates forum will be videotaped by NRTV, will air on Verizon channel 28 and Cablevision channel 75 and will be available on demand in the days before the November 7th election.
