NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The young literati at the Henry Barnard Early Childhood Center celebrated the completion of their books today with a Publishing Party. Judy Badillo’s kindergarten students had just finished penning their volumes in a writing unit that comes from Teachers College. So they invited Lynne Ingram’s second graders over to read to them.
The second graders brought a surprise: literary prizes for the kindergarten authors to wear proudly.
