Rose Ann (Caiazzo) Bongo, Mother of Isaac E. Young MS Principal, Passes at 86

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Rose Ann (Caiazzo) Bongo passed away on November 27. She was 86 years old.

She was a lifelong New Rochelle resident, and graduated from Albert Leonard High School in 1947. She became a cosmetologist and worked in New Rochelle beauty shops for nearly forty years.

She married Anthony Bongo in 1956, who passed away in 2012.

She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church and loved attending daily mass.

Rose was a regular fixture at Joe’s Deli where she went every day. She loved West New Rochelle where everyone knew her as a kind and nurturing person.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Bongo (Patricia) and Patrick Bongo (Mary). She has five grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie), James

(Nilda), William, Mary, and Elizabeth. She also has four great-grandchildren, Leila, James, Gianni, and Elena. She loved all her nieces and nephews. Rose is also survived by her beloved sister Florence. She is predeceased by her sister Louise.
