NEW ROCHELLE, NY —
WHEN: Friday, December 1, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHAT: Hundreds of Iona College students will put on their boogie shoes and dance the night away during the IonaTHON Dance Marathon for children undergoing open-heart surgery, brain surgery, trauma and burn care, cancer treatments and other advanced services at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.
Students will share the dance floor with multiple families whose children have had lifesaving and life-changing care at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, which cares for the most seriously ill and injured children from the Hudson Valley, Fairfield County and elsewhere.
The first three student-run IonaTHON events generated over $50,000 for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. The students have a goal of $25,000 for this year’s event.
