NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City of New Rochelle (the “City”) and the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation (“Parks and Rec”) is soliciting proposals for the development, operation, maintenance, management and lease of an enclosed tennis facility at Pinebrook Tennis Center. Currently, eight (8) outdoor tennis courts and four (4) outdoor lighted platform/paddle courts are located and operating at the Pinebrook Tennis Center. The City is seeking to engage the services of a qualified firm to: (a) design, develop and construct an enclosed facility to cover all or a portion of the existing eight (8) outdoor tennis courts; (b) restore, repair and resurface all or a portion of the four (4) outdoor platform/paddle courts; and (c) operate, maintain an manage the tennis facility, through a long-term lease agreement with the City. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate at least ten (10) years’ experience in constructing, operating, managing and maintaining a tennis facility at the highest standards.
