NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Task Force for Reduction of Violence in the Lives of Children and Youth, a committee created by the City School District of New Rochelle, will hold its first meeting on Saturday, March 10th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meeting had been scheduled for Wednesday March 7th but was postponed due to the weather.
The committee will work towards five meeting outcomes on Saturday: (1) welcome and review of Meeting Outcomes; (2) self-Introduction of Task Force; (3) discussion and review of group meeting norms; (4) discussion and decision about public comment; (5) read and present about District policies and practices (TBD); (6) discussion of 1st meeting documents on District policies and practices.
After a review of Next Steps, committee members will sign up for one of four break-out groups: (1) District policies and practices; (2) NRHS policies and practices; (3) City policies and practices; and (4) Community Resources.
