NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Come see art work by our students inspired by the world renowned pop-art of New Rochelle’s own Charles Fazzino | Master of 3D PopArt this Thursday evening in the Museum of Arts & Culture!
Fazzino’s work was on display in the museum, at New Rochelle High School, last fall. Now it’s the students’ turn.
Their works, influenced by the pop art master’s whimsical style, are featured through May 9 in an exhibition presented by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence.
The reception will be from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday, April 12. Enter the high school from the entrance off North and Braemar avenues.
The two works here are just a sample. They are “The City That Never Sleeps” by Allie Fish and “Weekend Getaway” by Cecilia Roe, both seventh graders.
