WHITE PLAINS, NY — Susan Fox, President and CEO of White Plains Hospital, has been appointed to the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Board of Trustees, where she will represent the needs of the region on the increasingly important national healthcare stage, beginning in 2019.
This role complements her new position as Chair of the AHA Regional Policy Board 2 (RPB2), which represents healthcare organizations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Regional policy boards are responsible for providing input on public policy issues and unique regional needs. Prior to being appointed Chair, Ms. Fox served three years as a delegate to the regional policy board.
In August, Ms. Fox was also recognized as one of the 2018 Crain’s Notable Women in Health Care. As one of the first female CEOs of an acute care hospital in Westchester County, Ms. Fox’s combination of visionary thinking, strategic planning and passionate commitment to the management of White Plains Hospital has proved invaluable in meeting the challenges of today’s complex healthcare environment.
Ms. Fox was appointed President of White Plains Hospital in 2013 and President and CEO in 2015.
