NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A series of planetarium events at New Rochelle High School this year will launch with a presentation at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Planetarium director Bruce Zeller says the night sky will still display the stars of summer. Jupiter, Saturn and Venus are visible. Zeller will explain why Earth has seasons and will talk about the harvest moon.
The planetarium shows are free and open to the public. They are generally held at 7 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month. During December, Zeller will present the “Season of Light” show three times. Check the District calendar for dates.
