MAMARONECK, NY — New York State Police stopped a vehicle Thursday afternoon on I-95 for vehicle and traffic violations at about 4:45 p.m. The driver of the vehicle, William Traynor, 53, of Oneonta, NY, was found to be intoxicated.
Traynor was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.24%. He was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Traynor was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Mamaroneck Court on January 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
