Shouting Turns to Stabbing in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Ronald A. Lanza, 46, was arrested by New Rochelle Police and charged with Assault 2nd degree, a class D felony.

The incident occurred Saturday night in an apartment at 541 Pelham Road in New Rochelle.

“A verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation which resulted in the victim being stabbed multiple times,” said New Rochelle Police Captain Cosmo Costa.

If convicted, Lanza faces up to 7 years in prison. He was arraigned Sunday and remanded to county jail. He was released on $7,500 bond.

  1. Interesting that this isn’t blasted all over the news in New Rochelle perhaps it’s because they’re trying to make sure that all these Millennials come to these new buildings
