NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A student was observed Sunday on video surveillance cameras spray painting two images of penises on the brand new girls softball turf field at New Rochelle High School
Police were called on Monday after school security staff noticed the graffiti. The student has been identified and reported to the police who have opened an active investigation.
The field was completed several weeks ago as part of a $106.5 mm capital bond project
The paint was removed on Monday, in time for the softball team’s game today against
North Salem High School
A week before on March 19, a police report for a larceny was filed after a student left his backpack unattended while outside playing football and his wallet was stolen. A parent called from home and stated that her son had been assaulted at school.
