What are the actual Quarantine Figures for the City School District of New Rochelle?
We have been asking but school officials refuse to provide actual counts of quarantined students and staff so we are left to piece it together as best we can.
Perhaps posting this will prompt the District to be transparent about COVID-19 in their schools or maybe frustrated insiders will get us the data. At the very least, we will take this admittedly unofficial, incomplete information and attempt to build on it and refine it with information from parents, union members or anyone other person in a position to know. One flaw is we will not likely have good data on people coming out of quarantine so we can really only offer cumulative data at best.
The most current numbers are going to be a moving target but here is some data we have so far:
As of 10/29/2020 – 254 have been put in quarantine (cumulative)
NRHS – No info
ALMS – No info
IEYMS – No info
Columbus – 58
Trinity – 85
Ward – 6
Webster – No info
Davis – 30
Barnard – No info
Jefferson – 30? “Cohort A student tested positive for COVID-19, one kindergarten and one first grade classroom in Cohort A were impacted, all students and staff who came in contact with the student in quarantine but no exact number.”
Employees
Teachers – 20 + 4? at Jefferson
Specialists (Pysch, Nurses, Speech, etc – 3
Staff – 18
