NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle kicked of the holiday season of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa on Thursday with an actual event that was live-streamed on cable access TV and Facebook.
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Business Improvement District and the City of New Rochelle hosted the event.
Musical performances were provided by Gian Faraone, New Rochelle Artist in Residency, for the Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA) and Vin Becker, a member of the Iona College Pipe Band.
On hand was Mayor Noam Bramson, New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District Executive Director Karel Littman.
