New Rochelle’s Latest Restaurant, Town House, is Now Feeding Artists & Musicians

Written By: Robert Cox

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Town House, a multi-floor restaurant, bar, and cultural hub is slated to open at 559 Main Street in early 2021.

The plan is for Town House to be a central meeting place for food and drink, art, music, conversation, and events in the heart of downtown New Rochelle.

The building will include co-working and gallery spaces for local artists and a podcast studio with plans to develop a new community-based podcast well underway.

While Town House looks forward to opening to the public as early in 2021 as possible, the owners are wasting no time reaching out to the community with the launch of a social outreach program Feeding Artists.

Town House’s Feeding Artists program is partnering with New Rochelle-based artists, musicians, and arts organizations to provide meals to those in the creative industries who have been struggling disproportionally through the current pandemic.

Starting Tuesday, December 22nd and running through December 30th professional artists of any type can arrange to pick up a meal for themselves or their families at the new restaurant.

Interested artists should email FeedingArtistsNR@gmail.com to arrange a pick-up time.

Appropriate safety protocols will be followed for meal distribution.

The Town House partners hope that this outreach will bolster local artists and help them continue to create vital new art and music for all of New Rochelle to enjoy.
