New Rochelle Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Murder Vehicle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Police Detectives are attempting to identify the vehicle depicted in the video provided here.

The vehicle is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on May 1 at approximately 11:56 p.m. in the vicinity of Horton Avenue and Brook Street.

On May 1st, at approximately 11:56 p.m., New Rochelle Police received multiple reports of shots fired near Horton Avenue and Brook Street.

Responding units found that five adult males who were attending a gathering at the incident location had been shot.

One victim, M D Andersonkerny Jr., 29 of Brooklyn, was shot in the neck and was subsequently pronounced deceased by Ambulance Personnel.

A second victim was shot in his back, and was transported to an area Hospital where he underwent surgery.

The three other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to Hospital personnel.

Two .223 casings (rifle rounds) were recovered.
