NEW ROCHELLE, NY — With the warmer weather this weekend New Rochelle Police experienced an uptick in DWI arrests.
On May 21 near the intersection of Echo Avenue and Main Street Angel Cabrera, aged 19, of New Rochelle was arrested and charged with DWI 1st Offense; BAC .08 or more; operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol less than 21 yrs old.
On May 23 on the 500 block of Webster Avenue Alfredo Garcia-Ramirez, aged 27, of Yonkers was arrested and charged with Aggravated DWI BAC .18 or more; DWI 1st Offense, BAC .08 or more; BAC .08 or more; No License.
Om May 24 on the 100 block of Nardozzi Place Lauren Strickland, aged 20, of Mamaroneck was arrested and charged with DWI 1st Offense; Aggravated DWI BAC .18 or more; BAC .08 or more; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor vehicle 3rd degree.
For those thinking of drinking and driving this summer think again. Better to not get drunk but if you do call a sober friend to pick you up or call a ride-sharing service.
