SUEZ Issues Annual Water Quality Report

Written By: Robert Cox

NYACK, NY — SUEZ announced today the release of its annual water quality reports that provide key details on the quality of drinking water provided to customers in 2020.  The reports are available on the company website at http://www.mysuezwater.com.

The report is required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Department of Health and provides a snapshot of drinking water quality each year based on the prior year’s testing results. The reports include system comparisons with safe drinking water standards set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and state and local health agencies, drinking water sources, and treatment processes.

“Despite the challenges of the pandemic this past year, our team of dedicated, highly-skilled professionals continued to ensure that high quality drinking water was available to our customers,” said Chris Graziano, Vice President and General Manager of SUEZ operations in New York. “Customer confidence in water quality is more important than ever and this report is an important tool in educating our customers about the quality of their tap water.”

In May, SUEZ mailed its customers’ information on where they can find their water quality report online. To view it, customers can visit http://www.mysuezwater.com/water-in-my-area/water-quality-reports and enter their zip code.

Printed copies of the report are also available upon request by calling the customer service center at the phone number listed on customer bills.

SUEZ serves more than 500,000 people in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Tioga counties.
