RYE, NY —Fireworks displays over Long Island Sound will return at Playland Park in Rye starting Friday, July 9, at 9:15 p.m. and then every Friday evening through September 3 with a final show on Sunday, September 5, at.
All shows start at 9:15 p.m.
“After being closed to the public for the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am excited to welcome thousands of people from all over Westchester County back to a Playland to gather for Friday night fireworks,” said County Executive George Latimer. “It’s a summer tradition to cap off a day at the park with celebratory fireworks.”

“Whether you come for the rides at the park or a dip at the beach and stay for the fireworks, you get a lot of bang for your buck,” said Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor.
