NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Police arrested 4 people wanted by the FBI this afternoon following a brief chase on Webster Avenue which ended after the suspect’s vehicle struck an another vehicle under the Metro-North railroad overpass.
At about 3:10 pm, the Westchester County Police Real Time Crime Center alerted the New Rochelle Police Department that a vehicle being driven by suspects wanted by the FBI was driving through New Rochelle in the vicinity of North Ave and Huguenot Street.
New Rochelle Police found the vehicle and attempted to stop them, however they attempted to evade the police and a short pursuit ensued. The vehicle crashed into another vehicle on Webster avenue under the Metro North Train Tracks overpass and the 4 occupants were arrested and held for the FBI.
The driver of the vehicle that was hit did report injuries and did seek treatment at a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing and further questions regarding the FBI criminal investigation should be sent to the FBI media contact.
