New Rochelle Announces Appointment of Development Commissioner; Corporation Counsel Adds Deputy City Manager Title

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City of New Rochelle has announced the appointment of Adam Salgado as Commissioner of Development, effective March 21, 2022.

Salgado is currently the Deputy Commissioner of Development. 

Kathleen Gill has been acting Commissioner of Development since Luiz Aragon retried in December 2020.

Kathleen Gill will have a new job title, Corporation Counsel/Deputy City Manager, also effective March 21, 2022.

The City is close to announcing a new Deputy Commissioner of Public Works. She will be the first woman serving in a management position in the Department of Public Works in the City’s history.
