NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The student savagely attacked by another student at New Rochelle High School on Wednesday was at New Rochelle Police headquarters on Thursday with a parent to file a complaint relating to the incident.
New Rochelle Police Captain J. Collins Coyne, Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division, said the complainant said he was playing catch, sat down and was attacked. He said he did not know the person who attacked him or why he was attacked.
Coyne added police were aware of the unsubstantiated allegations about the victim depicted in the video. Separately, sources within the school district have confirmed that one student did tell a school official about an allegation. She was referred to New Rochelle Police. Coyne said police had received no complaints from anyone concerning those unsubstantiated allegations.
Given the ages of the students involved, no further information about the stomping incident on the field will be released by the New Rochelle Police Department.

Its sad others stood watched n filmed. They should all be expelled for the term, hit with assault n bullying.
That high school is aesthetically beautiful. The student body is a cesspool of filth and thugs. Why is it so hard to have discipline and order in school today?
You are truly an idiot for writing this. While there is a percentage of students that are part of the problem, the majority of the students are just regular kids. What about all those kids in sports, in honors classes, PAVE program. How dare you lump all these kids into your “cesspool.” I have 2 graduates of NRHS, 1 graduating this year and 1 entering next year and they are all well rounded respectful kids who have never gotten into trouble, along with all their friends.
