TOTS Reader Poll Results: Best Chinese Takeout in New Rochelle is Jade Spoon, Runner-up is Hong Kong

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (April 17, 2022) — In our recent TOTS Reader Poll, the Jade Spoon was voted the Best Chinese Takeout in New Rochelle.

Jade Spoon located at 1473 Weaver Street came in first place, receiving 32% of the votes cast.

Hong Kong located at 418 Pelham Road came in second place, receiving 29% of the votes cast.

  1. I want to thank readers for the suggestions. I have since picked up take-out at both Jade Spoon and Hong Kong. Both are very good. Given their locations, Jade Spoon is a great option in the North End and Hong Kong is a great option in the South End.

    The difference between the two is that dishes like Sesame Chicken are made with all white meat, the Hunan Duck is made with Duck breast, giving Jade Spoon the edge.
