WHITE PLAINS, NY (June 1, 2022) — The Westchester County will off free rides on Bee-Line Bus this summer starting today until Labor Day.
The promotion is valid on all routes in the fixed route bus system, including the express route into Manhattan, the BxM4C. Free rides are also valid on the Bee-Line ParaTransit system.
“Now is a perfect time to try out the Bee-Line system if you haven’t already,” said Westchester County Executive George Latimer. “We take great pride in the fact that our buses are safe, clean and accessible.”
“We have all been feeling the pain at the pump, with gas prices soaring higher than we’ve seen in recent memory,” said Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Public Works & Transportation Hugh Greechan. “We’ve made a lot of recent improvements in our Bee-Line fleet, including fully electric and hybrid buses that feature new safety enhancements.”
“ParaTransit riders will benefit greatly beginning June 1st through September 6th,” said Director of the Office for People with Disabilities Evan Latainer. “The opportunity to travel to medical appointments, work and other destinations at no cost will greatly help our ridership financially during this time when all costs are on the rise.”
