2 People and a Dog Shot with Plastic Pellets in Port Chester, 1 Injured

PORT CHESTER, NY (June 18, 2022) — A man, 18, from Norwalk, CT was charged with Prohibited Use of a Weapon — 2nd.

Port Chester Police Officers responded Friday night to complaints of a vehicle’s occupants driving around the area of the Port Chester High School shooting a BB gun type weapon at pedestrians.

Two area residents and a dog were shot during this incident, with one resident suffering minor injuries.

Officer’s conducted an area search and were able to locate a suspect vehicle which was unoccupied. Officers were able to locate the occupants of the vehicle and after further investigation, 

It was determined through investigation that air-soft guns which shoot a hard plastic projectile were used in this incident.

The man, whose name was not released due to his age, was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance with a future court date.
