New Rochelle Woman Arrested in Mamaroneck for Felony DWI Following I-95 Traffic Stop

MAMARONECK, NY (July 14) — Demi Torres, 28, of New Rochelle, NY, was charged Tuesday with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class D Felony after New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the town of Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation.

On July 12, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Torres was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody, transported and processed at the State Police barracks in New Rochelle, where she refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content in her system. 

Torres has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years 

Torres was released to a sober third party. She was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Mamaroneck Court on August 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
