WHITE PLAINS, NY (September 14, 2022) — Paul Hurley, 57, of New Rochelle was sentenced today to three years of probation for wage theft by Westchester Judge Alexandra Murphy in Westchester Criminal Court.
Prosecutor narrative:
- Failed to pay eight employees a total of $23,114 for their work between October 2018 and June 2019
- Investigation conducted by the New York State Department of Labor and the Economic Crimes Bureau of the District Attorney’s Office
- Arrested on February 5, 2020
- Pleaded guilty to Failure to Pay Wages, a misdemeanor, in June 2022
Hurley’s Steakhouse and Pub closed two years ago.

- Cooks
- Dishwashers
- Food runners
- Kitchen runners
- Waiters
