NEW YORK, NY (October 11, 2022) — Unfortunately, starting next week, Westchester residents traveling into New York City will no longer be able to use the reliable ParkMobile app for on-street parking. All mobile payments will need to be made through the notoriously buggy ParkNYC app starting on Monday, October 17, 2022.
A new ParkNYC “experience” will launch on Monday, October 17, 2022.
The popular ParkMobile app will no longer be accepted after Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.

The ParkNYC ratings in the Apple App Store are filled with 1-star ratings resulting in an abysmal average rating of 1.4 stars.

All existing ParkNYC app and associated ParkNYC e-wallets will be suspended beginning Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. until Monday, October 17, 2022, at 5:00 a.m. During this period of system maintenance, customers will not be able to complete transactions or access their account while NYC DOT transitions to a new, updated version of the ParkNYC app.
For parking transactions during the maintenance period, customers can pay at parking meters using coins, credit cards, and parking cards.
