Armed Robbery in Port Chester Involves FBI Safe Streets Task Force

PORT CHESTER, NY (March 24, 2023) — Port Chester Police arrested a man following an armed robbery at a gas station.

Police narrative: Early this morning, an armed robbery occurred at a downtown gas station during which the suspect displayed a handgun. The suspect than tied up the clerk and fled.

PCPD OfficerS on patrol located a suspect, engaged in a foot-pursuit and took the suspect into custody. A weapon was recovered.

This case is being handled by FBI Safe Streets task force. No further information will be released.
