Port Chester Community to Host Inaugural Arts Festival

On Saturday, June 3rd, the Port Chester community will come together for the inaugural Port Chester Arts Festival, a day-long celebration of the arts. The event will showcase local arts organizations, businesses, and artists who will open their doors for a day of exhibitions, art buying, family activities, open studios, performances, community arts projects, and more.

Several arts organizations will participate, including The Capitol Theatre, The Carver Center, Clay Art Center, Eugene’s Music & Learning Studio, Fashion Arts Studio, Ice Cream Social Art Space, Jete Dance Studio, LawnChair Theatre, MAPSpace & The Crit Lab, and Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library. Each organization will have its unique event offerings, from outdoor pottery sales and jazz dance classes to theater workshops and art scavenger hunts.

Festival attendees can visit three or more locations and be entered into a raffle to win prizes from local businesses and arts organizations, including Bar Taco, The Capitol Theatre, Clay Art Center, Eugene’s Music & Learning Studio, Fashion Arts Studio, Kneaded Bread, Run & Hide Brewery, Sergio’s Sawpit, T&J Pizza, and more.

The event is made possible through the support of several sponsors, including The Capitol Theatre, G&S Investors, the Village of Port Chester, Ice Cream Social Art Space, Clay Art Center, County Legislator Nancy Barr, USAlliance Credit Union, Rye Ridge Tile, Port Chester Rye Brook Chamber of Commerce, and Sergio’s Sawpit.
