Written By: Robert Cox

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 11, 2023) — Are you a senior who loves to sing? Do you want to join a fun and friendly group of singers and perform for the public? If so, you might want to check out the New Rochelle Public Library’s “Sing Your Heart Out!” workshops.

The workshops are designed for singers ages 55 and older who want to gain confidence in singing, learn to sing in a chorale group, and have fun. The workshops are led by music aficionado Robert Puleo, who will help the participants build their repertoire for a culminating performance.

The workshops are free and open to all interested singers, regardless of their skill level or experience. The only requirement is a passion for singing and a willingness to learn.

The workshops will take place at the Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, on various dates and times from May 13 to July 14. The final performance will be on Saturday, July 15 at 12:00 pm.

The workshops are made possible by the Lillian Robbins-Rick Englander Fund, which supports arts and culture programs at the library.
