PELHAM, NY (May 19, 2023) — On Friday, May 19, the Prospect Hill School Community and the Pelham Manor Police Department held a ceremony to honor and thank school crossing guard Ro Licata for her years of service. After more than 20 years of crossing Prospect Hill children every morning and afternoon, Licata is retiring from her post.

Affectionately known as “Ro” by all, Licata was an attentive, loyal, dedicated, caring and kind crossing guard. Ro’s dedication to her job and the children she crossed every day will not be forgotten.

The community wishes her all the best in her retirement.
