New Rochelle Police Department to Host Angel Training for Hope Not Handcuffs Program

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 25, 2023) — The New Rochelle Police Department will host an Angel Training session for the Hope Not Handcuffs program on Thursday, June 15th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The training will take place in the department’s training room located at 475 North Avenue in the City of New Rochelle.

Hope Not Handcuffs is a program that aims to help individuals suffering from drug or alcohol addiction. The program is seeking volunteer ‘Angels’ who are willing to donate their time to have a direct impact on someone’s path to recovery. The only requirement to become an Angel volunteer is a compassion to help those in need.

Individuals interested in becoming an Angel volunteer can fill out an online application at www.tricountycommunitypartnership.org/angel.

It is important to note that individuals should not show up to the training unless they have completed the application online and have received a ticket for the training via email.
