NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 30, 2023) — The New Rochelle Public Library has announced its summer closures and hours for 2023. The main branch of the library, located at 1 Library Plaza, will be closed on Sundays from June 4 to September 3, as well as on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day and from Saturday, September 2 to Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day.
The Huguenot Children’s Library, located at 794 North Avenue, will also have closures this summer. The library will be closed on Saturdays from June 24 to September 2, as well as on Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day and Monday, September 4 for Labor Day. The library will remain closed on Sundays.
Summer hours at the Main Library will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (closed on Tuesday, July 4 and Monday, September 4), Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (June 24 – August 26). The library will be closed on Sundays from June 4 through September 3.
