RYE, NY (July 5, 2023) — The Rye Police Department arrested Richard A. Olmino, 21, of Port Chester, NY, in connection with an assault that occurred at approximately 12:00 am on June 23, 2023.
Olmino, who at the time of his arrest was free on bail in connection with an arrest for Criminal Sexual Act first degree in Suffolk County, was arrested in Port Chester, NY, and subsequently charged with Sexual Abuse in the First Degree a class D felony. Additional charges are currently pending.
Olmino was processed at the City of Rye Police Department, arraigned, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail with no bail to return to Rye Court on Tuesday, June 27th.
The Rye Police were assisted by the Westchester County Police, the Westchester County District Attorneys Office, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Putnam County Sheriffs Office.
