RYE, NY (August 11, 2023) — A Port Chester man wanted by police was found sitting in a vehicle with two containers of cocaine.

On July 01, 2023 at approximately 1:15am, members of the Rye Police Department were dispatched to a report of a subject trespassing and peering into the windows of a residence in the area of Cedar Place. Upon arrival the officers were advised that the suspect had fled the scene and were provided with a physical description and a possible name of the subject. Officers were then advised that another caller had reported a suspicious person in the area of Midland Avenue and Billington Court. Officers responding to that area located a subject fitting the description of the first incident seated in a vehicle in that area who was arrested and admitted to being the subject wanted in connection with the trespassing incident. A subsequent search of the vehicle that he was sitting in disclosed two containers containing what was later determined to be cocaine.

The subject who reported the Trespassing incident declined to press charges.
