New Rochelle Man Arrested for Forcible Touching at Train Station

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (March 13, 2024) — A New Rochelle Man, arrested Sunday following a Forcible Touching incident, had an outstanding warrant for Domestic Assault.

On March 9th, 2024, at about 9:19pm, New Rochelle Police Officers responded to the

New Rochelle Train Station on a report possible sexual assault. The victim, an 18-year-old female, reported that while she was walking across the pedestrian foot bridge leading from Station Plaza to Burling Lane, she was approached by a group of 4 Hispanic males. One of the men then put his hand down the back of her pants before fleeing with the group Westbound on Burling Lane.

Detectives developed leads and on March 10th, 2024, at about 4 am a suspect was

located and brought in to New Rochelle Police Headquarters for questioning. He was

subsequently charged for this crime as well as for an outstanding warrant related to a domestic assault that occurred in 2022.
