NEW ROCHELLE, NY (April 10, 2024) — The New Rochelle City Council voted to accept New Rochelle City Manager Kathleen Gill’s resignation as part of a separation agreement approved last night.
We have made a Freedom of Information request for a copy of the Separation agreement.
City Manager Gill’s last day is effective today, April 9, 2024.

“Kathleen Gill has submitted her letter of resignation in order to pursue other opportunities,” said New Rochelle Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert.
“We thank Kathleen for her service to the City of New Rochelle and wish her the best in her future endeavors. As we begin the search for her successor, the City of New Rochelle remains committed to a comprehensive and transparent search process to identify the next City Manager,”
The City of New Rochelle will enlist an executive search firm to conduct a nationwide search, with the process to retain the search firm to begin immediately. Pursuant to the City Charter, Deputy City Manager Adam Salgado will serve as Acting City Manager.
