NEW ROCHELLE, NY (April 18, 2024) — With the stabbing victim not cooperating, New Rochelle Police are asking anyone with information about an early morning stabbing over the weekend to come forward.
On Sunday, April 14th, 2024 at about 5:45 am, New Rochelle Police were called by the New York City Police Department that a 41-year-old male stabbing victim was at a Bronx Hospital stating that he was stabbed in New Rochelle at Lit Sports Lounge and Grill, located at 234 North Avenue. The injuries were deemed serious, but not life-threatening at this time.
New Rochelle Detectives responded to the Bronx to meet with victim, who ended up not fully cooperating with them. Patrol Officers and Detectives responded to Lit Sports Lounge and Grill and were able to find a small crime scene outside the premises that was then processed.
