“Stay safe and keep your hair combed”
On July 24th, 2024, at about 1:00 pm, New Rochelle Detectives were alerted that a stolen vehicle was parked at a local CVS Pharmacy at 222 North Avenue. Detectives from New Rochelle and Westchester County Police responded and soon located the vehicle parked and unoccupied in the CVS parking lot.
Detectives set up surveillance on the vehicle and soon observed a suspect return and enter the vehicle. Detectives then converged on the vehicle and took the suspect in custody without incident.
The suspect was found to be in possession of a “comb knife” when placed into custody.
