NEW ROCHELLE, NY (August 2, 2024) — The New York Foundling’s Developmental Disabilities Division today hosted their Annual Friends & Family BBQ for those living in their residences and attending day and community habilitation programs. Taking place in Glen Island Park in New Rochelle, more than 1,000 attendees of all ages came out for a day of food, music, and games.
Attendees, their families, Foundling staff members and local elected officials enjoyed BBQ classics like hot dogs and hamburgers while enjoying DJ Phil Soundz leading the dance floor, balloon making, face painting, cornhole and sand art.
