MAMARONECK, NY (September 22, 2024) — On September 20, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., members from State Police Troop T conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 95 in the town of Mamaroneck for speeding in a work zone. Troopers identified the driver, 26-year-old Kadeem R. Kennedy from Connecticut, and a passenger, 26-year-old Terrance M. Jackson from North Carolina. Troopers also observed brass knuckles on the front passenger floor and received conflicting stories from Kennedy and Jackson.
Troopers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and recovered approximately 106 lbs of cannabis that was located inside numerous duffle bags on the back seat and in the trunk.

Kennedy and Jackson were charged with Criminal Possession of Cannabis 1st degree and Criminal Possession of a weapon 4th degree.
Kennedy and Jackson were processed and transported to the town of Mamaroneck Court for arraignment.
