Big Bust in New Rochelle: Drugs, Guns, and Cash Seized

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (February 13, 2025) — On February 12, 2025, New Rochelle Police executed a search warrant at 50 Sickles Avenue, leading to a significant seizure of narcotics, firearms, and cash.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division uncovered:

• Drugs: 124 glassine envelopes with heroin and fentanyl.

• Cash: $7,430, believed to be from drug sales.

• Firearms: A stolen Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol from Georgia, plus a high-capacity magazine.

ArrestsRonald Ackridge, 69, and Rocco Forte, 68, both from New Rochelle, were taken into custody.

Charges: The duo faces a slew of charges including:

• Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second and Third Degree.

• Possession of Stolen Property (the firearm).

• Intent to Sell Controlled Substances.
