RYE, NY (March 19, 2025) — A registered sex offender was arrested Friday after allegedly attacking a resident inside his home, Rye police said.

Patrick Antonio Colon-Craig, 35, of New Rochelle, was taken into custody following a physical altercation reported at a residence on Midland Avenue. Officers responded to a 911 call around midday and found the homeowner had sustained minor injuries during the confrontation. The victim was transported to Greenwich Hospital for treatment.

Police said Colon-Craig, identified as a Level 2 sex offender in New York State due to a 2013 child pornography conviction, was processed at Rye police headquarters and released pending a court appearance. A city court judge issued an order of protection for the resident against Colon-Craig.

Colon-Craig is scheduled to appear in Rye City Court on March 25, 2025, to face charges related to the assault.
