PELHAM, NY (April 12, 2025) — The Village of Pelham Board of Trustees ratified a five-year agreement with the Pelham Professional Firefighters Local 2213 on Tuesday, April 8, ensuring stability for the fire department through May 31, 2029, village officials announced.

The Memorandum of Agreement outlines employment terms and conditions for bargaining unit members, including measures to protect firefighters’ health and safety and provide fair salary increases aligned with market standards. The deal is expected to save taxpayers approximately $75,000 in legal fees by avoiding arbitration.

Village officials expressed gratitude to the negotiating committee, which included Mike Mullen, Frank Bellantoni, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ralph Magliulo, and Rob Destasio, for their professionalism and collaboration. They also thanked the firefighters for their continued dedication to protecting Pelham residents.

“We are grateful for your service,” the village said in a statement addressing the firefighters.
