PORT CHESTER, NY (October 10, 2025) — Port Chester police arrested multiple suspects Thursday afternoon following a robbery on Parkway Drive in the village, after the getaway vehicle was involved in a serious crash on Interstate 95.
The Port Chester Police Department received a 911 call reporting the robbery yesterday afternoon, according to a department statement. As officers gathered information from the victim at the scene, a report came in of a serious auto accident on I-95.
Upon arrival at the crash site, investigators determined the damaged vehicle was the one used in the robbery. The suspects had fled the robbery scene before police arrived.
A search was conducted in the area, where officers learned the suspects had been picked up in another vehicle and left the scene. Shortly thereafter, that vehicle was located on the Hutchinson River Parkway by Westchester County Police Department officers, along with members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. All suspects were taken into custody.
No further information will be released at this time.
The victim suffered minor injuries during the robbery.
“This was a random act that was perpetrated in the Village, there is no further threat to area residents,” the department statement said.
The incident highlighted inter-agency cooperation, the department said. “Another clear example of multiple agencies working together for the common goal of making everyone safe by getting these individuals in custody,” the statement read. “Once again, we wish to thank our partners at the Real Time Crime Center, County PD, Rye Brook PD, and the FBI Safe Streets task force for another successful conclusion.”
