WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (October 21, 2025) — Westchester County’s Bee-Line Bus System will operate limited service on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the first time in its history.
On Thursday, Nov. 27, and Thursday, Dec. 25, the Bee-Line will run on a Sunday schedule for both fixed-route and ParaTransit riders.
In previous years, the system did not operate on those holidays, leaving public transit users without options.
The new service is designed to offer greater flexibility for families, workers and travelers who rely on public transportation during the holiday season.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The Bee-Line has always been about connecting people to where they need to be, and that does not stop on the holidays. Offering service on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the first time marks a milestone for our County and reflects our commitment to the riders who depend on us. I extend my sincere thanks to our operators and staff for making this service possible and ensuring residents have reliable transportation even on these important days.”
Bee-Line customers can check updated schedules online at www.westchestergov.com/beelinebus or call the customer service center at (914) 813-7777.
Customer service hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Automated schedule information is available 24 hours a day.
