Building Bridges
Jenkins emphasized the importance of this role, stating, “Having a solid Director of Faith Based Initiatives is not just about promoting religion – it is about partnership, trust and bridging the gap between faith-based organizations and County government.”
McNair expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am shaped by the love and care of people who taught me how authentic connection has the power to transform. I’m grateful for the opportunity to uphold this faith-filled legacy.”
Prior to this appointment, McNair served as Senior Director for Social Transformation at My Sisters’ Place, focusing on education, prevention, and engagement efforts addressing domestic violence and human trafficking.
