In recognition of National Marina Day Sunday, August 10 the City of New Rochelle Municipal Marina gas dock will feature a fuel sale for the entire month of August.
In partnership with Nor’east Saltwater Fishing magazine, Valvtect Fuel will discount 20 cents off per gallon with the coupon featured in Nor’east’s August issue, also available on line at www.noreast.com. Valvtect Fuel will also present a trophy to the vessel that travels the longest on National Marina Day to fuel at the New Rochelle Municipal Marina.
The Marina’s full service gasoline dock is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week and also features a 24- hour pump out station and holding tank.
The New Rochelle Municipal Marina boasts 325 slips, 150 moorings, 50 kayak slips and laundry and shower facilities. In recent years the Marina has regularly incorporated innovative improvements and environmentally-sensitive initiatives including: a newly-completed sea wall; absorbent rings on pump nozzles to prevent spillage on the gas dock; a wastewater filtration pit; eco-friendly cleaning supplies; and most recently, recycling of tons of shrink wrap used for winter boat storage.
