New Rochelle Citizens Reform Club Meeting Thursday 7:30 PM at American Legion Hall

The New Rochelle Citizens Reform Club will meet this Thursday, April 23rd at 7:30 PM at the American Legion Post 8 Hall, 112 North Ave, New Rochelle, in the 2nd floor meeting room.

From approx. 7:45 PM to 8:30 PM the special guest speaker will be Tom Geoffino, Director of the New Rochelle Public Library, who will speak about the Proposed New Rochelle Library Budget for 2009 – 2010. Invitations have also been extended to candidates running for Library Board of Trustees seats this year, to say a few words about their candidacy, following Mr. Geoffino’s presentation.

From approx. 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM the special guest speaker will be Steve Mayo (or a board member of the Rethinking Westchester Government group) who will talk about the New Rochelle Tea Party, held at On The Waterfront Restaurant on Wed. 4/15. Also to be discussed are the high County, Local, and N. R. School taxes. Plans are underway for more rallies to be held in the upcoming months.
